ANGEL-A PREMIERES IN FRANCE

ANGEL-A
Opening in Paris on December 21, 2005 after a media black-out, ANGEL-A has proven that Luc Besson has still got it.

[via aintitcool.com] The movie is beautiful in every aspect. Short, well paced and efficient. The musical atmosphere fits the scenes perfectly. Technically flawless. The story is the one the trailer gave us a glimpse of. Andre (Jamel Debbouze) is a con-man, who owes money to too many people. He's considering suicide, and suddenly meets Angela (Rie Rasmussen), who is in the same state. He thinks he's ugly on the outside, she thinks she's ugly on the inside. Each tries to convince the other that he shouldn't die. Eventually, it's the sweetest story I can think of... and it's not as cheesy as it sounds.
