EDGAR ALLAN POE'S
"THE TELL-TALE HEART"

EDGAR ALLAN POE'S THE TELL-TALE HEART

Maybe there is a trend in black and white animation-type films right now... regardless, this one looks just as eye catching as Christian Volckman's Renaissance. Based on Edgar Allan Poe's short story, The Tell-Tale Heart, the film of the same name is a psychological portrait of a mad narrator - a murderer who can't stop hearing his victim's relentless heartbeat. In this case, the film is appropriately narrated by the long deceased Bela Lugosi (1882-1956).
